About the university
Pavlov Medical University was founded in 1898 under the name of Women’s Medicine, then in 1924 its name was changed to the First Institute of Medicine in Leningrad, and after the university made scientific achievements in 1936 by the Nobel Prize-winning physiologist Pavlov, the university was named the Institute Pavlov University of Medicine in Belingrad
How to Apply
- To study in the Russian language, foreign students are required to pass an exam in Biology (oral exam) and an exam in Chemistry (written).
- To study in the English language, the student must pass an exam in biology (oral exam) and a written exam in chemistry.

- Secondary education certificate documented and translated into Russian.
- A certificate of equivalence (if any) obtained abroad.
- Passport with visa and migration card notarized and translated into Russian.
- Personal Photos
- A medical certificate for the applicant showing that there are no medical contraindications for studying in the Russian Federation and in the relevant colleges.
