The mission of Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov”- Varna is to meet the needs of the society for highly qualified medical and management personnel in the fields of health and social care in accordance with the national strategies for educational and public health development as well as in accordance with the international standards; to develop fundamental and applied scientific research, innovations and new technologies and improve the nation’s health in partnership with the remaining institutions of the health care system.

STEP 1. Read carefully the admission criteria, requirements and see if you meet them. If yes, you can then start preparing all the required application documents and for the Entry tests (if you would be applying for first year of studies).
Applicants for the Preparatory courses in Bulgarian and in English language shall not write Entry tests in order to get admitted to the Prep courses.
STEP 2. Submit all the required application documents to Medical University of Varna within the stated deadline (July 15 for first year of studies; July 30 for the Preparatory courses in Bulgarian and in English language) and sit the Entry tests. (It would be possible to sit the Entry tests on any of the announced Entry tests dates).
NB! The application process involves verification of secondary school diploma and credentials by the Local Directorate of Bulgarian Ministry of Education (http://ruo-varna.bg/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=146&Itemid=133). The instituted administrative fee for issuing the certificate of high school equivalence amounts to 35 BGN payable to the bank account of the local Directorate of Education. Please submit a proof of covered fee along with the set of the required application documents.
STEP 3. Medical University of Varna will assess your application and if you meet the requirements for admission, your documents would be then submitted by the University to the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science in Sofia for approval.
STEP 4. After obtaining the certificate, issued by the Bulgarian Ministry of Education, we would contact you to collect it from the Office of Admissions and then apply to the Bulgarian Consulate in your country or the nearest boarding country where there is one for issuing a visa type D (Study visa).

There is more than enough time to complete the exam. All entry exams are online, except the one in Sofia Medical University.
Yes, Instalment can be 50% at the beginning of every semester the duration of the medical education is six years and the certificate is master degree in medicine.
