Frequently Asked Questions
Students residing in countries where English is the mother tongue are not required to take an exam. As for the rest of the students, it is necessary to submit a document proving that the student has passed the English language level B2 or its equivalent. In the event that the student is unable to submit a document, the university will conduct an English language test.
Once the required documents are submitted by the applicant, the Admissions Office translates, notarizes and prepares the documents in order to submit them to the National Center for Education Quality Improvement or recognition. Recognition of foreign education takes about 3 weeks. But it can be extended for some reasons. Based on the recognition document, the Minister of Education and Science issues the registration decree within two weeks. After that, the applicant will officially be a student of New Vision University.
The conditions are based on the Lisbon Agreement of 1997: First, the student must prove his proficiency in the English language at B2 level, especially the English language exam for medical purposes – EMPE, with a success rate of up to 70%, but if the student obtains 60% or more (60-69%) At EMPE, NVU offers preparatory courses in medical English (for free).
