The Belarusian State University has equipped its academic buildings with state of art facilities — 70 computer laboratories and 4 media rooms are at students’ disposal. The university owns a modern sporting facility located in the centre of the capital. It comprises a swimming pool, a game room, wrestling and weight rooms, a physical therapy room, a gym, a skiing centre, a massage room, a sauna, and a stadium.
In 2010, SKIF supercomputer cluster was installed at BSU. It can run jobs on 288 processors at a time, enabling BSU teachers, researchers, and postgraduates to make use of its computing powers. The University makes use of distance-learning technologies, such as eUniversity, Moodle, and eLearning.
